Teresa and her team are amazing. I truly wouldn't entrust the care of my four dogs to anyone else. All of my dogs are different and Teresa adapts to their needs. It says it all when my rescue, that struggles to trust, happily trots in and wags her tail when she sees Teresa. Over the years Teresa has saved the lives of two of our dogs and for that we can never thank her enough or recommend her more highly. Teresa and her team have been amazing looking after our dog Emily, unfortunately we lost her in September 2022 but Teresa was totally on our journey throughout her illness every step of the way.

Wow! What an amazing experience Jed and friends open day was. It was thrilling to see what had been achieved with the building, all for a little white dog, Jed. We are the owners of an 11 year old labrador, who unfortunately, throughout her life has had to undergo repeated surgery to her leg joints; for cruciate problems, elbow dysplasia etc.
Despite this, we thank the day our paths crossed with Teresa. On each occasion, surgery being the only option,
Teresa has been there to not only care for our dog but to support us, her human family, as we nursed our beloved pet back to health.
We will always remain so very grateful to her for the expertise, compassion and dedication she shows every time we
have cause to make an appointment to see her.
Now that Teresa has opened her own surgery, we do have to travel further for appointments but it is well worth the
extra time and mileage, for the continuity of excellent care. On the occasion our dog had to remain in the surgery for a couple of hours, we were able to easily pass the time with a drink in the pub across the road, followed by a walk along the adjoining canal towpath. Also, Dobbies Garden Centre, with it's cafe etc, is only just around the corner.
As an added bonus, our dog absolutely adores every member of the staff and can't wait to see them when we arrive.
We have no hesitation in recommending Teresa and her lovely team to anyone who wants the best care available for
their pet. The new building is well equipped and offers an air of welcome to owners and their pets alike.

Teresa and Pedro were so obviously as invested in the best interests of my boy and the advice and kindness we received were exceptional.
My boy had 4 teeth extracted and a full scale and polish and was absolutely fine and they did an excellent job. He had clearly been vey well looks after and fussed by the entire team. The follow up was also very thorough with a phone call the next afternoon to see how he was and a check up the following week.

We would just like to say what an amazing vet Teresa is and also what a brilliant team she has working with her. We used to see her at Noah’s Ark in Dunstable for many years and have now followed her to Jed and Friends. We were also really impressed with their brand new facilities and it was so good to be shown round the operating theatre and treatment areas. I took my spaniel to this new clinic last Friday. We were greeted with smiles and such a lovely welcome from literally every member of staff. Theresa and her whole team are amazing, normally my dog trembles with fear at the vets, but at Jed & Friends she was on her back for a belly rub and cuddles. Dr Teresa is different from every other vet in MK. She is very gentle, my dog is usually terrified but he was comfortable enough to eat a biscuit directly from her hand on the first meeting.
Dr Teresa put him on the right medication, he is on the mend and a much happier dog.
The admin staff are also very patient and helpful.
I highly recommend this practice, everyone really did everything possible to ensure my dog was not in pain and well cared for.

So our gorgeous boy collapsed today and had us all really worried about him. I honestly thought the worst. However, knowing that we have Dr Teresa Burns Jed and Friends' Veterinary Surgery is a huge relief. I got him straight there, where they were all ready for him, he had a full MOT including bloods, scans, fluids and other tests. He is now back home and looking alot better. We need to go back tomorrow for further investigations but right now everything has come back normal. Pretty emotional afternoon but I am so relieved to have such an amazing independent vet that knows my dogs so well and can see that they are not themselves cause they no them and care for them like they are their own. 💕 If you are looking for a vet I honestly can’t recommend Teresa more highly. Where do I start….Our boy Buddy started licking his paw, clearly causing him pain. I contacted my vet and was told there were no appointments, I stressed he needed pain relief and they had a duty of care. I was then advised he could have an emergency appointment (it was 10am!) at 3 x the cost of a consultation and would have to sit and wait (how long for, they couldn’t say) in a busy waiting area when he was already distressed and in pain. At that point I decided we needed to find a new vet practice.
Telephoned Jed and friends and explained the situation to the most empathetic and caring receptionist, who had a brief word with Teresa, the vet. I was advised to bring him in straight away, even though I’m sure they were busy themselves they made the time to see Buddy as he was in pain and needed help. It turned out that buddy had two grass seeds in his paw.
Our experience with Jed and friends has been exceptional, what a team of truly committed, compassionate, caring people. We can not praise them highly enough and feel so lucky both our dogs are now registered with the practice, which has state of the art equipment and amazing customer service.

Called Jed & Friends when my usual vet was unable to offer me an appointment for my cat. He was in a sorry way & urgently needed to see a vet. They offered me an appointment for the same day & were very helpful, helping me out with my insurance claim form & explaining all the medication needs etc. I'm so glad I called them. Derek (my cat) had surgery the next day. They kept me well informed & explained everything to me. All the staff there are absolutely lovely and so caring. I will definitely NOT be returning to my previous vets. I have no qualms about recommending Jed & Friends. If you need help from people who genuinely care about their clients, this is the place to go. And Derek says thank you too, especially for the pink surgical t- shirt!

My dog Caesar was extremely vet anxious and had started to get bitey and difficult to examine. I didn’t feel my old vet was doing much to help his nerves. So decided a new vet was needed. I found Jed and Friends by chance and what a great find it’s been! On our first visit I was able to take both my dogs and we were given a tour of the practice. Recently Caesar came for a neuter and returned weekly for an unrelated eye issue, his care has been second to none every time. I’ve never felt rushed and all my questions are answered. All the staff are incredibly friendly and have made a real effort in making Caesar feel comfortable. On our most recent visit Caesar didn’t want to leave Dr Teresa’s office at the end of the consult! Which was unimaginable only a short time ago. I can’t recommend this practice enough!

Dr Teresa has been our vet for many years and we followed her to her lovely new practice because she is absolutely worth the extra journey.
There’s a very peaceful atmosphere and we visited so often in the end, Tally would even greet Dr Teresa and Pedro - and be happy to see them! Tally had a reputation for 'being a little bit naughty' so this was quite a change. I’m sure she still had her moments.
They are a great team who are extremely knowledgeable and really respect the animals in their care.
We had to make the difficult decision to let Tally go, but I can honestly say that with Dr Teresa we felt like everything possible had been done, and we would not have had that feeling with anyone else.

Teresa is such a wonderful loving and caring vet, as are all of her staff members. My Pomeranian is 3 yrs old. He'd previously been registered with a different vet within Milton Keynes, however I was extremely unhappy with the care that he had received from the previous vets. And so I tried other vets in the area to try to see if i could change to a better practice. However i tried various vets and i still wasn't happy with the care given from the others, THAT WAS UNTIL I FOUND JEDS and FRIENDS VETERINARY PRACTICE. It is a fairly new practice. It is located in Fenny Stratford and is owned by a wonderful vet by the name of Teresa Burns. (Following the death of Teresa's beloved furbaby Jed,
Teresa decided to open her own veterinary practice in honour of her much loved dog Jed.)
All of the other vets that i'd previously
tried had never, in my opinion, shown any interest in the animals care, it was just about how much money they could make out of you. Theresa's practice is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of that and so you can imagine my huge relief and delight when I took Bear and registered him with jeds and friends. From the moment we walked into the practice the atmosphere was one of complete calm, the receptionists were lovely and extremely professional. The staff were so welcoming and couldn't have been any nicer to mine or other peoples furbabies. It was amazing talking with others waiting to be seen, just how many had not only changed from our previous vets but had found themselves feeling so blessed that they too had discovered Jeds and Friends, as it was 1,000 times better in every way. Our appointment was with Teresa, the owner and head vet of the practice. What a wonderful lady she is. She treats her patients as if they are her own. The ethos of the practice is that all of her staff treat all of the patients as if they were caring for their own animals. How refreshing is that.
My poor dog was in so much pain with his ears, he was given pain relief and booked in straight away for sedation, so that he didn't have to suffer further pain than absolutely necessary. It was discovered that 1 ear had a ruptured eardrum and the other one was infected. So far we have been to the practice 3 times as my furbabys' care is of top priority to them and of course to us.Teresa who did the investigation provided us with updates as soon as Bear was out of theatre, and in recovery. She informed us asap as to what was found, how Bear was following the sedation, and what further medication and treatment was going to be needed. Upon collecting Bear we were again given the same information by the practice nurse, who is an absolutely delightful person. Bear loves her, as well as the reception staff, who made a huge fuss of Bear, which he lapped up, and he wasn't the only one who was made a fuss of. All of the animals attending are made a fuss of, to ensure that the experience of being at the vets isn't something to be frightened of. I gave a five star rating not only for the cleanliness of the practice but also for all of the staff, the vets who we've met, the nurse and of course the lovely reception staff. Everyone who works there, do so because of the love they have for animals. If you are dissatisfied with the treatment of your furbabys care at your current veterinary practice then I strongly urge you to visit and register with jeds. You won't regret it.

From the moment we walked through the door, it was evident that the staff were passionate about animals and dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care. The entire team, from the receptionists to the veterinarian, exuded professionalism and genuine concern for the well-being of Charlie. Where to start, I took my 2 new fur babies to Jed and friends for their first vaccinations, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by Adrienne who is an absolute gem, even offering a cup of tea or coffee, we then met Dr Teresa and Aesha who were both amazing with our boys giving them both a clean bill of health, unfortunately 2 weeks after that one of our boys became very poorly and I was told to come in straight away to see Dr teresa, my boy eventually ended up needing surgery and Dr Teresa and her team looked after my boy so well and saved his life, and I can’t thank them enough for recommending the 5 weeks free insurance for puppies and kittens because without it i don’t know what I would have done. The team at Jed and friends are amazing, and we love the fact that over the several visits we have made so far it’s the same people we see so they get to know you and your fur babies there is nothing but kindness and compassion and it’s lovely to be treated like pet parents instead of just a number.

I needed to register my new cat with a vet and the name of Jed and Friends just felt so warm and friendly. Spoke with the receptionist and she was so welcoming. Had an appointment the next day and it was such an amazing experience compared to other practises. Leo and I felt at ease as soon as we arrived, even got a cuppa!! 10 out of 10 for that alone! I was desperate to get my little Angus a diagnosis or some form of release from obsessively licking all his paws, it was so bad that he couldn’t walk and his paws were bleeding and pink.
My previous vet gave him some medication to stop the itching but it continued, she gave more medication and sprays, no other advice from them.
I changed his complete diet, tried everything on the market to stop his itching and spent a small fortune.
Dr. Teresa Burns was absolutely fantastic, she gave great advice and spoke about what could be causing his itching. 4 lots of medication and complete new diet of hypoallergenic food.
She has honestly worked a miracle with him, 2 days on meds and new food and not once has he licked his paws, he’s sleeping better and a lot calmer, he woke me every night at least 3 times due to his constant licking.
I highly recommend Dr Theresa Burns, she is extremely passionate at what she does, not forgetting her assistant who was also amazing and the lovely lady on reception made us so welcome. It was a very calming experience sitting in Jed and Friends.
